Reiki Level 1 & 2

DAY 1 (4 Hours)

Schedule 

10:00-11:30: Introduction to Reiki and its history, learning the energy centers (chakras) and the energy field.

11:30-12:30: The Reiki Level 1 Attunement.

12:30-1:00: Break (not counted in class hours).

1:00-2:30: Hand positions for self-healing & practice time for self-treatment.

DAY 1

Itinerary

Day 1: Foundations & Self-Healing

Morning Session: History and Theory (1.5 Hours)

• Welcome and Intentions: Group introductions, checking in on everyone's energy, and setting personal goals for the weekend.
• What is Reiki?: Defining Rei (spiritual/universal) and Ki (life energy), and learning how this energy flows through the body.
• The History of Usui Reiki: The story of Mikao Usui, his meditation on Mount Kurama, and how Reiki spread to the Western world.
• The 5 Reiki Principles: Deep dive into the core guidelines for daily living (Just for today: do not worry, do not be angry, be grateful, work honestly, be kind).
• Energy System Basics: Introduction to the 7 main chakras and how energy blockages affect physical health.
  
  Midday Session: The Attunement (1 Hour)
• The First Attunement: A sacred process where the teacher opens your crown, heart, and palm chakras to permanently connect you to the Reiki energy channel.
• Grounding and Integration: Time to sit quietly, drink water, and process the initial physical or emotional sensations of the attunement.
   
  Afternoon Session: Self-Treatment (1.5 Hour)
• Hand Positions for Self-Care: Step-by-step demonstration of the standard hand placements on your own head, torso, and back.
• Guided Practice: A full, hands-on self-treatment session to experience the energy flow firsthand.
• Day 1 Wrap-up: Q&A, journaling your experiences, and homework instructions (usually a self-treatment before bed).

DAY 2 (4 Hours)

Schedule 

10:00-11:00: Review of Day 1 and sharing experiences.

11:00-12:30: Hand positions for healing other people.

12:30-1:00: Break (not counted in class hours).

1:00-2:30: Practice time giving treatments to others, ethical guidelines, final questions, closing meditation and certificate delivery.

DAY 2

Itinerary

Day 2: Healing Others & Integration 

Morning Session: Review and Preparation (1 Hour)

• Morning Check-In: Sharing experiences, dreams, or physical sensations from the previous night.
• Reiki for Animals and Plants: Learning how to adapt hand positions and techniques for pets, plants, and food.
• Cleansing Techniques: How to clear the energy of a room or object using your hands and intention.
  
  Midday Session: Treating Others (1.5 Hours)
• Client Hand Positions: Detailed walkthrough of the 12 to 15 standard hand positions used when a client is lying face up and face down on a massage table.
• Session Ethics and Boundaries: Learning about client consent, creating a safe environment, and the rule of never diagnosing medical conditions.
• Preparing the Space: How to ground yourself, protect your energy, and set up a peaceful room before a client arrives.
  
  Afternoon Session: Practical Application & Certificate Delivery (1.5 Hours)
• Hands-on Exchange: Practice giving and receiving a full 45-minute Reiki session under the teacher's supervision.
• Byosen Scanning: Learning to feel variations in the energy field to locate areas that need more attention.
• Post-Session Care: How to properly disconnect from a client's energy field and wash your hands to break the energetic link.
• Certification Ceremony: Presentation of your Reiki Level 1 Certificate, lineage chart, and a closing meditation. 

DAY 1 (6 Hours)

9:00-10:00: Review of Level 1 foundations.

10:00-11:30: Introduction to sacred symbols and mantras, symbol drawing/memorization.

11:30-12:30: The Reiki Level 2 Attunement.

12:30-1:00: Break (not counted in class hours).

1:00-3:30: Distance healing, Hands-on practice, Ethics, Closing & Certification ceremony.

DAY 1

Itinerary

 Day 1: Sacred Symbols and Distance Healing

Morning Session: History and Theory (2 Hours)

• Opening and Review: Review of Reiki Level 1 concepts 
• The Sacred Symbols: Learn the Cho Ku Rei (power), Sei He Ki (mental/emotional), and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen (distance) symbols.
• Drawing and Chanting: Practice drawing the symbols correctly and using their sacred mantra
  
  Midday Session: The Attunement (1 Hour)
• The Sacred Attunement: Receive Level 2 Attunement which permanently raises your energetic vibration, opens your channels wider and amplifies the flow of Reiki energy through your hands.
• Grounding and Integration: Time to sit quietly, drink water, and process the initial physical or emotional sensations of the attunement.
   
  Afternoon Session: Distance Healing (3 Hours)
• Distance Healing: Learn how to send Reiki across a room, across town, or to the past and future.
• Mental and Emotional Healing: Practice using Reiki to clear deep-seated emotional blocks and negative habits.
• Hands-On Practice: Partner with classmates to practice distance healing techniques and using symbols on others.
• Professional Ethics: Cover basic client communication, professional boundaries, intake forms, and setting up a practice.
• Closing and Certification Ceremony: Receive your official Level 2 certificate and ask any final questions.
