About the Training
This course helps the practitioner to avoid burnout by teaching their clients self care methods to reduce pain, repattern muscles and create new brain/body connections. You will be guided on how to apply physical techniques to release tension, bring more blood flow to the joint and muscles and prescribe after care home work to help clients improve outcomes.
20hr training covers
• Muscle manipulations
• Structural Alignment
• Self Massage
• Client self releases
• Energy transfer release
Muscle Manipulation
This technique’s main goal is to lengthen the muscle groups evenly in the body by manipulating the fascia.
Fascia in simple term is a skin that wraps around muscle fibers, bundles and groups.
This involves slow movements through the muscle groups by using the forearms, elbows knees and palms.
Structural Alignment
As we lengthen each area of the body the realignment of joints can occur once the facia around the skeleton are loose and flexible.
Self Massage
This involves the practitioner or the clients doing self work on all sections of the body. Elbows, forearms, forehead, fingers nuckles, knees, heal of the hands and feet.
This is great homework and post care for clients. Although this may result in less sessions with your clientele, it opens up the potential for more referrals.
The more the practitioner can work on themselves, it lessens the chance of burnout. This will also increase confidence in your teaching skills and open up opportunities for group sessions and seminars.
Client Self Releases
The use of the wall and floor can also be used to realign the structure. Flat surfaces used properly with specific movement can shift the bones into its optimal position for self healing. (These techniques are usually implemented before you touch the client. It allows the body to get major relief from discomfort and pains and helps to even out the muscles in the body by utilizing the clients own body weight. Not only does it cut down you own efforts on a physical level, it also allows the client to feel more confident in their own self healing. This ultimately leads to less energy transferred to the practitioner.)
• Longevity in your career
• Increasing ones client base
• Widening wellness opportunities
• Higher customer satisfaction
• Increase popularity
• More business with less effort
Energy Transfer Release
As one position one's self as a facilitator of healing modalities, the energy that people carry when being released can linger around or transfer to the practitioner. Some of these protective practices are shared in this training.
• Grounding techniques
• Breathing patterns
• Smudging
